Church Bay

Welcome to Church Bay Holiday Cottages and Caravan Site

The Perfect Anglesey Holiday CottagesCampsiteTouringsite

A Family Run Campsite and Holiday Cottages in
Church Bay, North West Anglesey

Located opposite The Lobster Pot restaurant and next to the WaveCrest Cafe, not to mention walking distance to the Church Bay Inn pub, we are ideally located for your holiday in Anglesey. We are the closest site and cottages to the beautiful blue flag beach in Church Bay.

Ty Newydd is a Grade II listed farmhouse built in the 1700’s, and the associated outbuildings have been converted and now offer self catering accommodation in the form of Orchard Cottage, The Barn & The Stable, available to hire all year round.

The campsite is open from March to October and offers electric pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Recent additions and changes mean that we now have additional facilities and features such as free WiFi for all staying onsite.

The beach here is very popular for kayaking and bodyboarding, and with access to the Anglesey coastal path nearby, along with fishing & golfing all in close proximity, Church Bay has something for everyone.

Family run site, Gill and Paul are excellent attentive hosts putting 100% effort into the efficient running of their holiday cottages, campsite and bay bites snack shack ( open in high season) My second stay here in September and it was lovely to see the high standards of the pitches and immaculately maintained shrubbery hasn't changed, a credit to Paul. What has changed is the wonderful new Women's shower block. Immaculately clean and well stocked of loo roll any time of day. The showers are hot and cubicles large. Coin operated. The site also has a decent pot wash area with hot and cold water, communal fridge and microwave which is handy. The area is a gem, coastal walks from the site in both directions, the bay itself great for paddleboard, kayaking and swimming. The area is very dog friendly, as is the site. Thank you for a great stay once again, looking forward to returning.

One of the few campsites on Anglesey north coast that cater for backpackers at a sensible price. Great location

Beautiful location close to the quiet, unspoilt Church Bay and one of the most picturesque sections of the Anglesey coastal path. The campsite is relaxed and peaceful, although there is occasional noise from some workshops across the road. The facilities are basic but look like work in progress. The ladies toilet and shower area is really well appointed, with 2 toilets, 2 pay as you go showers and hairdryer. Contrary to the current website the washrooms aren't mixed so don't let that put you off visiting this charming and friendly site.Take provisions as there are no shops. The Wavecrest cafe is well worth a visit but only open for 4 afternoons per week. The Lobster pot restaurant is directly opposite the site but very pricey.WiFi connection is excellent. Also dog friendly.

Superb location backed up lovely people. This has been the best place I've stayed on my Wales coast path walk, not for luxury, but for overall experience. Friendliness, price, location to beach, super recycling (even food), wifi, food available in the catering van and kindness. I also like that they charge for actual electric use, not a blanket £5, which everyone else does....If you are heading to anywhere around that area, go there, Jill and Paul will welcome you.
Family run site which is a credit to them all. Gorgeous well cared for and equipped cottages .19 Camping pitches with electric if you want it as its optional. Dog friendly but you need to walk your dog outside the site which is understandable just from a children's viewpoint and the beautiful beach is a stones throw away . We will certainly return . *****
