Church Bay Holiday Cottages
The Stable as its name suggests was originally the home of two shire horses that worked the farm in its heyday. The conversion is of two storeys sleeping up to 4 people (2 Adults & 2 Children)
The first floor is an open plan living area combined with kitchen and breakfast bar dining. An under counter fridge, small freezer, cooker and microwave mean you have all you need for your stay. A bathroom on the first floor with shower, WC and basin, and the small children’s bunk room completes the first floor.
The living area with TV is completed with a log burner to pop your feet up and really unwind at the end of a day’s walking or beaching. The mezzanine first floor houses a double bed sleeping area with sea views. There is a small back garden which is accessed through the former stable door (a low door).
We do allow up to 2 well behaved dogs in The Stable Cottage.
This cottage does not possess Central Heating, and in Winter can be a tad chilly to what you may be used to with it being an old stone building. During the winter months we do have an electric blanket on the double bed to make the evenings a little more cosy. There is also a heater under the TV to keep feet nice and warm of an evening.
That said Winter can be a beautiful time in Church Bay to wrap up warm and enjoy the coastal path walks and watch the waves crashing on the beach.
