Church Bay
Church Bay Cottages is a great base for a brilliant summer holiday not to mention a superb winter escape.
The Beach
The beautiful Church Bay beach is an award winning blue flag beach. With sand, pebbles and rock pools, this is an enjoyable beach perfect for many activities including body boarding, kayaking, swimming and simply paddling. During the summer months there is a lifeguard on duty. Take in the sunset of an evening, sitting on the rocks or in one of the little caves, maybe enjoy a barbeque on the beach.
Walking
The Anglesey Coastal Path goes along the cliffs that enclose the beach, north to Ynys Y Fydlan and Carmel Head, south to Penrhos and Holyhead. The coastal path is over 120 miles of walking around the island. There are also plenty of smaller local walks in the area, taking in some beautiful countryside and stunning views.
Bird Watching
Church Bay is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are some super places for Bird watching. Church Bay has visits from Choughs, Oyster catchers, Gannets and numerous other species. We are situated just a few miles from Cemlyn Nature Reserve, and South Stack in Holyhead.
Fishing
If sea angling is your thing have a chat with Vic when you get here. He has been fishing the area for many years and will gladly advise you on some good spots to try.
Cycling
Cycling enthusiasts have plenty of routes to choose from including Sustrans Route 5 which passes through nearby Rhydwyn.

A beautiful restaurant with fabulous views while you enjoy your meal. Booking in advance is highly advisable as it is very popular.

A unique restaurant which trains up budding chefs, well worth a try.
